Private In-Home Gourmet 3-5 Course Dinner with Wine Pairings

Gather ten guests for an extraordinary evening of cuisine, wine, and hospitality created exclusively for you by Master Sommelier Brett Zimmerman and acclaimed chef Matthew Jansen, former owners of Boulder’s beloved Mateo Restaurant.

Longtime friends and culinary collaborators, Brett and Matthew will work directly with the winning bidder to design a private three- to five-course dinner shaped around the guests’ tastes and preferences. The evening might take the form of an elegant multicourse experience or a relaxed, convivial feast—every detail will be thoughtfully tailored to the occasion. Drawing inspiration from the sun-soaked cuisines of Southern France and the Mediterranean, Matthew will create a seasonal menu that is both refined and deeply satisfying. Brett will complement each course with exceptional wines from world-class regions and blue-chip producers.

The wine selections will be personally curated from Brett’s private cellar, along with special offerings from the Boulder Wine Merchant. The final lineup will reflect the guests’ interests and requests, making this a rare opportunity to explore celebrated regions, benchmark producers, and beautifully matured wines selected by one of the country’s most accomplished wine professionals.

Brett holds the prestigious Master Sommelier Diploma and brings decades of experience in wine, hospitality, and the art of pairing. Together, Brett and Matthew will create an intimate and memorable evening filled with remarkable food, compelling wines, and lively conversation. This is more than a private dinner—it is a bespoke journey through the world’s great wine regions, shared around the table with two masters of their craft.

Scheduling: The winning bidder will coordinate a mutually agreeable date with Brett and Matthew.
